From 2000 to 2004 the American Institute of Architects selected 55 projects to receive the Institute Honor Award for Interior Architecture. This album presents the top 24 honorees based on such criteria as design innovation inspiring presentation creative use of technology and client satisfaction each with commentary plans captions and color photographs. Among them are the International Terminal at the San Francisco International Airport and the New York Stock Exchange Trading Floor both by Skidmore Owings & Merrill; the Detroit Opera House by Albert Kahn Associates Inc.; and the First Presbyterian Church of Encino California by Abramson Teiger Architects.
