This is the story of a little girl Pollyanna who comes to live with her Aunt Polly after she loses her parents. Pollyanna is liked by everyone in the town because she is a very happy girl and wants everybody to be happy. She plays a 'Glad Game' and helps many people. After a car accident she cannot walk.
