Inequalities are pervasive and identifying feature of modern industrial societies; yet they are not always explicitly and easily observable without exploratory and explanatory power of social sciences involving but not limited to philosophy sociology economics political science social policy and ethnography. Moreover diverse characteristics of inequalities inevitably require us to develop comprehensive and varied perspectives so long as the purpose is to overcome their undesirable consequences. Thus both understanding and coping with such unjust characteristic of modern industrial societies eventually invoke different branches of social sciences.
