Strange thing it is being a criminal lawyer. You shouldn't condemn let anger take overcry. Don't these feelings ever surface? They do. But they shouldn't boil over. Your looks should never give them away. Look at the convict in the eyes but amicably. There you will see a human who wish-es to pour his heart out. The rest should be easy. They say "One can remove another's venom" in Turkish. This is half of being a criminal lawyer.
Some of the anecdotes in this book are my own. Some were related by my colleagues in the courthouse corridors. I tried to narrate each story by placing the central point in the fore-ground. For confidentiality reasons I have used fictitious names. I have also added my own interpretation of events from time to time. This book is not a compilation of documented reports.
