With the development of today's technologies the intensity of railway transportation operations is increasing steadily. However with the development of high-speed railway vehicles used in passenger and freight transportation the design and production of high-strength railway wheels is an important parameter in terms of passenger and vehicle safety. In this book a number of approaches are presented for use in the production of railway wheels including basic analysis conditions development processes of structural transformations within the metal development of complex properties and increasing resistance to damage during operation. This book consisting of six chapters in total is presented for the benefit of metallurgical and materials engineers railway production facilities as well as academicians students and other engineering branches.
